ぷにぷに電機、Kan Sano、Shin Sakiuraが新曲「学芸大前」をリリース。
「会いたいな、君に 今夜9時、学芸大前」という歌詞から物語が始まるこの曲は、東京の小さな街を舞台に描かれるラブソング。
本作は、「小さなBARの灯り」「80年代のあの曲」「魔法のクリシェ」というフレーズや、ノスタルジックなコード進行へのオマージュを特徴とし、それが楽曲のフックにもなっている。それぞれのボーカルやコーラスも魅力の一つで、追いかける側と余裕を見せる側の視点の移ろいによって、恋の揺らぎを描き出す。
「君はQueen」「ずるくない？」を共に手がけてきたぷにぷに電機、Kan Sano、Shin Sakiuraによる今回のコラボレーションでは、情景的リリック、ジャズのコードセンス、黄金のメロディ、洗練されたグルーヴなど、それぞれが培ってきた感性が交差し、2020年代の新たなJ-R&Bが誕生した。
さらに、本楽曲をイメージしたSession IPAスタイルのクラフトビール「学芸大前」をKUNITACHI BREWERYとのコラボレーションで製作。数々のコラボクラフトビールを手がけてきたぷにぷに電機のこだわりを堪能できる一杯となっている。KUNITACHI BREWERY公式サイトにて、2月24日11:00受注開始、3月4日楽曲のリリースにあわせ順次発送開始。

Punipunidenki, Kan Sano, and Shin Sakiura release their new single “Gakugeidai-mae.” Opening with the line “会いたいな、君に 今夜9時、学芸大前 / I want to see you, tonight at 9, Gakugeidai-mae,” the song unfolds as a love story set in a small neighborhood in Tokyo.
“Gakugeidai-mae” is marked by evocative phrases such as “小さなBARの灯り / the light of a small bar,” “80年代のあの曲 / that song from the 80s,” and “魔法のクリシェ / a magical cliché,” alongside a nostalgic chord progression that serves as both homage and hook. The distinct vocals and layered choruses are also key elements, shifting between the perspectives of the one who pursues and the one who remains composed, delicately portraying the emotional fluctuations of romance.
Having previously collaborated on the hit tracks “My Queen” and “Zurukunai?,” Punipunidenki, Kan Sano, and Shin Sakiura now unite as a trio.
