ぷにぷに電機がデジタルシングル『Optimystipue（オプティミスティーク）』を2025年7月30日（水）にリリースする。本作は、東京のアーティスト・ぷにぷに電機とストックホルムのプロデューサー／マルチアーティスト・Pikes（パイクス）が、スウェーデンの現地セッションにて生み出した、オプティミスティック・ファンクチューン。両者のコラボは2024年の『Star Runner』以来、約1年ぶりとなる。
タイトルの『Optimystipue』は、「Optimistic（楽観的）」と「Mystic（神秘的）」を掛け合わせた造語。行き場のない現実の中、踊ることだけが希望のような世界で、それでも心を委ねる夜の魔法があるーー。そんなねじれたポジティブさが、現実の境界を揺らす歌詞とメロウなリズムとともに浮かび上がる。
Punipunidenki will release their new digital single “Optimystipue” on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. This optimistic funk track was born out of an in-person session in Sweden between Tokyo-based artist Punipunidenki and Stockholm-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Pikes. Their collaboration comes about a year after their previous track “Star Runner” released in 2024.
The title “Optimystipue” is a coined word blending “Optimistic” and “Mystic.” In a world where dancing may be the only form of hope left, there's still a kind of nighttime magic that allows us to surrender our hearts. This twisted form of positivity quietly emerges through mellow rhythms and lyrics that blur the line between fantasy and reality.

Punipunidenki is a genre-defying composer, vocalist, and producer based in Tokyo, best known for their conceptual EPs that explore themes of technology, isolation, and hyper-emotionality. Drawing from jazz, bossa nova, city pop, future bass, and breakcore, they build intimate sonic narratives shaped by both DIY culture and the urban surreal. Past works include music for Sony PlayStation, beatmania IIDX, and DEEMO II, as well as collaborations with coffee roasters and craft brewers.
