Amsterdam-based bass house artist Bloody Boy reinterprets Punipunidenki’s dystopian pop with a house-infused groove!
ぷにぷに電機が歌うディストピア・ポップス「Sunshine Bay」を、オランダ・アムステルダムを拠点に活動するベースハウスアーティストBloody Boyが、ハウスグルーヴに再構築してリミックス。エレクトロニックでありながらメランコリック、破壊的でありながらノスタルジック、人工の太陽が照らす夜の廃墟のように美しくも不穏な光を放つハウス・トラックに仕上がっている。ジャケットは、「Sunshine Bay」が収録されたEP『フリークエンシー・イン・ブルー』も手がけたポップ・アーティストF*Kaoriの描き下ろし。本作は、アムステルダムのダークエレクトロニックミュージックレーベルMoretinより、2025年6月6日にストリーミング配信される。

“Sunshine Bay,” a dystopian pop song by Punipunidenki, is reimagined by Amsterdam-based bass house artist Bloody Boy, through a house-infused groove. The result is a remix that blends electronic melancholy with destructive nostalgia—a haunting light shining over the ruins of a night city, like an artificial sun in a post-human world. The cover artwork was created by pop artist F*Kaori, who also illustrated the EP “Frequency in Blue”, where the original version of “Sunshine Bay” appears. The track will be available on all major streaming platforms on June 6, 2025, via Amsterdam’s dark electronic music label Moretin.
